You can't help but notice when you first meet Ace - three eyes!
Try not to stare. But then, if your head starts to slowly tilt
90 degrees to decipher his chestal settings, you will
hear a sharpish metallic voice alerting you, "Hey! my eyes are
up here!"

Back in 1978, running the Boston
Marathon as an endurance check, a fellow runner (human) mistook Ace's hydrogen-flask-head
for a water bottle at mile 18. It was awkward. Since then,
Ace has worked to improve robot - human relations.
The "Robot dance"? That was Ace's first big success!. |
